richie and I just deicded to use the marriott rewards we got by having our wedding there on getting a room at the marriott marquis downtown for 2 nights for dragon*con. I have two words for this. thank. god. it's one of the main Dragon*Con hotels, so we won't have to walk far or take marta or anything. If I get tired during the day, which I inevitably will, I'll have a place to retreat.
so excited for dragon*con too. Tom Felton is going to be there and he's doing "An hour with Draco Malfoy" SWEET!

so, last night at 4 am the fire alarm went off in my building. I was so disoriented it took me a good five minutes to realize that it was for the whole building at not just me, (picure me first waving towels at my smoke alarm, and then up on a stool disengaging it, and then the lightbulb went off in my head). So then I had to stumble around to find clothes and shoes and go outside. Where it is freezing. Whats funny is, when the fire people came the went and shut off the alarm and all they did was walk up and down the hallways. We were allowed to go back in right away. And 15 minutes later, just as I'm going to sleep, I guess they thought everything was good cause they tried rengaging the alarm which promptly went off. they tried this several times, but I just went to bed. I don't even know if they figured out who burnt popcorn and set it off or something. oh man.

So, what the CRAP is up with them shutting down 99x? starting next week, q100 will be on 99.7 and 99x will continue only on the internet. What the hell am I going to listen to on the way to work now?

Tomorrow night I'm going to the Regal 24 to see Bella at 10:20. If you havent heard about Bella, let me just tell you that it is so moving and so awesome (I saw 2 different pre-screenings). I have bought 10 tickets and still have 5 to share, so if you want to come, it'll be my treat! Just let me know by email or by phone (both are listed on facebook) if you want to come and I'll save you a ticket. And, BONUS, it stars "the Brad Pitt of Latin America" Eduardo Verastagui(or something) who is freakin hot. I got to see him in person at one of the screenings. He was in Menudo, I mean, you just can't beat that. and its free! so come on out! It'll be so much fun! ~Susie

*Leasing a horse named Bubbles. He's awesome! He's at a carriage horse barn in Alpharetta. His barnmates are GIGANTIC (clydesdales).
*Aforementioned cute boy has girlfriend, but he is still my best buddy at work. We talk all day on inter-office messenger and help each other out. We have the same boss but we work in 2 completely different locations (approx 12 minute walk). Airplane factories are big.
*Finally got all my health insurance cards. Now I have to go to the dentist, the doctor, and get new glasses.
*Jenny Craig has started to work. Lost 7.3 lbs and 1.5 inches from waist. none from the boob area, of course (this is not a good thing! would prefer to go down to at least a D!)
*My apartment exploded this week. Thats what I get for trying to get organized... My bike is still in my (very small) kitchen. ha.
*Had to replace 2 tires on my car this weekend. suck. and apparently I have a broken CV axle that needs replacing as well...
I HAVE NOTHING TO DO ON THE 4th! My family went out of town and left me all alone. If you are doing anything fun that I might want to tag along to, let me know please!

like holy cow.
I'm back folks (and I have my own place, woot). Lets hang out. Here is a quick bullet update.
*Graduated with a 3.2 (got a 96% on that 56 hour project-a-thon, double woot)
*Moved back to the ATL
*My lil sis is soooooooooooooooo cute. And you should all come see her and my lil bro, also cute but going through his terrible twos...think time out every 10 minutes it seems like)
*Started working last week.
*Doing the jenny craig thing. surprise, surprise, its not really working yet... we'll see how it works out.
*met a cute boy :).... i'll keep you posted if anything goes down
*my apartment is still semi-exploded from unpacking. I have too much shit.
*been doing some garage sale-ing on the weekends, and its pretty fun.
*I'm bored!!!!! Let's do something before I become a hermit recluse!

So I actually started looking at houses the other day (online of course). I figured out that I could actually buy a small house and pay the same or less than renting. I will probably need to rent first and save up some capital for a down payment and whatnot, but its a feasible option for in a year or so. So scary!
reading HPHBP again as inspired by my friend Veronica. Only 117 days left til HPDH comes out! I'm so excited.
i have senioritis major! its 10pm and before tomorrow at 11 am I need to write a rough draft of a paper (haven't started) and finish a ridiculously long homework (have started but only have the attention capacity to work on it in 10 min bouts with long breaks in between). Said paper is actually due on Wednesday when I also have a terribly hard midterm (4 problems that are supposed to take us 2hr 40min to complete). GAH!

Hey guys/gals.
It's official. I'm coming back to Atlanta after gradution. I'm currently looking at apartments, etc. While I'll be able to afford my own and everything, its really a much better deal to get a two bedroom and have a roommate. Anyone else looking/thinking about having a roommate?
